The internship has been a great opportunity for me to develop my skills and affirm my interest in architecture. I have learned various aspects of the industry through engaging conversations with the team. The internship is education orientated as the opportunity enriches my knowledge in architecture but also in construction and management. As an international student, the project leader explains to me all the basics I need for an assignment or a project as construction policies vary from state to state and/or from country to country. Beside academics and work, team members maintain a friendly relationship with me and other interns by constantly checking on us and organizing fun events like "the intern day," and " a golf day."
